For years I spent time heading to places like Wal-Mart, Toys R Us and Target shopping for toys always thinking that it was going to be cool someday to shop for toys with my kids. Friday night during our normal trip to Wal-Mart for groceries since our son was good (as he usually is) we brought him over to the toy department to pick out a toy. For him its cars from the movie "Cars", he's got a ton of them, in a cool find for him we picked up Race Official Tom and the Dinoco Helicopter. As an added bonus for me I found a Duke from the new G.I. Joe line in classic packaging and a Dukes of Hazzard General Lee on clearance for $5! We both had pretty good finds and left Wal-Mart very happy. Oh and we got lots of food too! This was one of those trips that was fun for both of us, I don't usually buy too much anymore mostly choosing to allow him to grow his collection, but it was neat nonetheless. All those years of waiting have finally arrived and if you think picking up toys for yourself is fun, try buying them for your kids, it’s even better!
