I took my daughter to her first comic convention today. The Scranton Comic Con 2009 is a small con, more of a dealer room than anything else really. There were a few creators, including Tom Derenick and Scott Beatty.
Unfortunatly, the whole thing was a little overwhealming for my 5 year old, so we didn't stay very long. I had a chance to chat with Tom and Scott, and with Dave the owner of my local comic shop, Comics on the Green, who was set up there.
In the end, I picked up some copies of Buck Rogers #1 from Scott, along with his Ultimate Gudes for Superman and Batman (all signed by Scott). I also asked Tom to add to my Justice League Sketchbook. He did a great Flash for me.
Pics after the jump, or check out more pictures from all our events in the Gallery. Later.

At long last, it's happened. Thanks to the wonderful artwork of Harold Jennett, who also created our logo (see top left of page), your hosts appear in the latest comic from M.I.M.E.S.
Created by "Raido" Wayne Cordova and Harold Jennett, M.I.M.E.S. has been a favorite of ours since it's inception. We're thrilled to be a part of it, even if we're being guided by the gentle hand of Half Hour Wasted's Brad Milyo and Frank A. Rincon.
Here's a preview, and head on over to www.mimescomic.com for the full page.

At long last, I've finally getting some of my video from the New York Comic Con up on the site. Here's a short video of our friend Leroy from Comic Tube in his excellent Two Face costume, making a diffcult decision involving Juan of Geeks Unite. I've also added a few pictures to the Gallery.
