In the past several years, I’ve heard a discussion or argument come up from time to time. The topic of continuity in comics has become a hot button of sorts. Some want nothing to do with it, wanting only to read fun and exciting stories with their favorite characters. Others love to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry woven by the various plot threads that run through the comics of a given publisher.

The phrases "will the real Bruce Wayne please stand up" and "and where is the BAT MAN" come to mind lately in the bat books, but they may all soon be titled "The Adventures of Robin". I've made the comment on the show that through the recent R.I.P. storyline it seems that ole bats is taking a back seat to the development of those around him. While its clear that Batman is not in fact dead he is in fact dead to many people around him, those that don't have the benefit of seeing the panels in the comic books we do. I'm talking about people like Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, and Jason Todd in particular but less not forget people like Commissioner Gordon, Damien Wayne, Tommy Elliot (Hush) and of course Alfred. These are a group of people who are trying to carry on without Batman and to a degree Bruce Wayne. Yet while its easy to concoct a story as to where Bruce may be its a hole left that's hard to fill when Batman is not around.

Wow back home from Super Show and it’s been a whirlwind since I got here. Let me just say that Sunday was just as big as Saturday for Too Old to Grow Up!
Mr. Bryan Deemer himself lent us his voice for the episode intro (I'm pretty sure Ken gave it back) and we got an interview with Mr. David Petersen of Mouse Guard fame!
Plus make sure to listen to this week’s episode very closely because we're giving our listeners a chance to win an autographed copy of Mouse Guard Winter 1152 issue #1!
Its going to be a crazy episode (and a long one too) but you'll not want to miss a minute of it this Tuesday on Too Old to Grow Up!
