First off, here is a link to my pics:
Now, what a wild day it was, and I was only there for 4 hours. As soon as I walked in I was overwhelmed. There is so much to see; you wonder how you would get it all in.
I decided I needed to ground myself first, so I headed off to podcast alley to see some friendly faces. I talked with the CGS crew, Wraithmaker from Geeks Unite, and I_am_scifi, Ian of Comic Timing. Charlito from Indie Spinner Rack came over and said hi, and I met a few of the forum members, including thefreakytiki and Wood.
I wandered the aisles checking things out. I came upon Artists Alley, and found my way to Steve McNiven who signed my Civil War bound collection. He was amazed by it and thought it was really cool. He spent a few minutes flipping through it, asking how it was done. I was glad he approved. I also saw Ethan Van Sciver, but as I didn't have my Sinestro Corp War book with me, I didn't approach him just yet. He's top of my list tomorrow.
I was so enthralled by it all I completely forgot about any panels, and there were a few I wanted to hit, especially DC Nation. Oh well, what you will do.
So Mike, my friend who came to the con with me, and I left shortly before the con ended. We headed to Times Square and had dinner at Planet Hollywood before going back to the hotel. Now I'm off to bed and ready for a very long day tomorrow.
